Any home remedies for tooth pain? My bf's wisdom teeth are coming in and teething gel is not doing the trick.

My bf's wisdom teeth are coming in and teething gel is not doing the trick. Also, what pain medication can he take~OTC, not prescription.

tell him to take Motrin ib pm, for cold trust me it works it reduce fever if he got any, swelling and ect. tell him to us Listerine(mouth wash), if you don't have any try to use rum or any alcoholic and to hold it in his mouth and to spill it out. he can leave that in the mouth for one minute, after two minutes to watch he's mouth with warm water.
Reply:It will taste horrible but i swear it will work . Take a regualr plain old asprin not coated and stick one on each side of the mouth all the way in the back and let it melt. Yes itll taste bad but it will compltley numb the gum area far in the back where the teeth are coming in. After that take 2 motrin which is best for tooth discomfort.
Reply:Take pain killers at the moment. Let the wisdom tooth come out. Then, go for a surgery.
Reply:Garlic. Rub it on the area that's sore, it'll help.
Reply:I am not sure where you from but you can try Goody Powder. It is sold in most convient stores and it works, it dont taste very good but it should do th trick. I use it all the time!
Reply:Oh...I use to chew Aspergum it helped some But getting them out stopped the pain.
