Wisdom teeth pain?

is it just me? or was the most painfull part of the surgery them tightening the tournequette. hahaha. it was rubber and pulled the hair off my arm. but the needle/IV didnt hurt, and im not really in any pain, and i had all 4 wisdom teeth removed. just a little soreness in my jaw, but thats becuz the top teeth were impacted, so they had to break/cut the jawbone away. but ya, im not really taking any pain medication or anything. just penicillin to keep it from infection, and saltwater rinses to help the clots.

Generally the major source of the pain is from the subsequent infection. So if you are fairly religious about the saltwater rinces and take all of the penicillin. I did very good on my wisdom teeth as well painwise but was naughty and did not rince enough and there was a painful infection later.





Might be wise to have a couple of Advil (ibuprophen) around just in case you start to throb..at worst it will prevent losing any sleep.
