Real pain in the teeth.?

I have never had this problem before, but the whole left side of my bottom teeth hurt like hell. Everything from the gums to the top of the teeth. I can't close my mouth because it send shocks of pain, and I can't eat. What could be the problem?

Real pain in the teeth.?
If it is the whole side and the gums and the teeth hurt as well, you either have a really bad infection in one on the teeth. Wiggle each tooth to see if one is worse than the other. If not you have a sinus problem, probably either an infection or you are allergic to something and are having the reaction and your sinus cavities are filling up with gunk (thats a technical term)Taking an over the counter pill may help such as drixoral, or benadryl or there are a ton to choose from. Drixoral is my favorite one that is over the counter. You want the one that looks like a green M%26amp;M. It will help you sleep.
Reply:try going to the dentist it could be a cavity or you might need a root canal. Take some pain relievers for now and eat soft foods and make a dentist appt now

Good luck
Reply:Probably just a regular toothache
Reply:Well it could be a number of things such as a new tooth coming in that has not enough room could be putting pressure on a nerve. Maybe a wisdom tooth or molar depending on you age. Abscess could do this possibly too. You may have decay or a cracked tooth and Xray will show more than you could see on your own. If you took a blow to the area you could have some damage that may have taken a bit to become painful.

You should have a dentist check you out. Use something for the pain like Tylenol and try to see a professional as soon a possible.
Reply:Time for the tooth to be gone, gingevitis (don't know know if i spelled it right, but it's a gum disease), or yoru wisdom teeth is growing!
