Ok, so i went to my orthadontist and before she said i didn't need an expander but now she is saying yes and so today she put spacers in my teeth (these little blue rubber bands that she jammed in between my teeth) I am not the type of person that takes medicene for pain but i will take Advil just not right now. Any other suggestions besides medicene and/or pills
What should I do about the pain in my teeth? ( plz read description)?
Stick with the Advil. The pain should go away after a day or so.
Reply:How about getting some oral gel like Ambasol (I think that's how its spelled) You can buy some at a pharmacy. It will numb your gums.

My dentist gave me this thing that looks like a hollow half circle. Kind of like a retiner, even, without the roof and bar across the teeth. It comes in mulitple flavors to! You start chewing on it when you get your braces, tightenings, ect.... You start chewing on it before the pain starts and it helps reduce pain. The meds are also a good idea.
Reply:To get ride of the pain in your mouth you can drink cold water or suck on ice. That is what my cousin does.
