4 weeks pregnant with severe wisdom teeth pain?

Pain started about 2 wks ago. Had an appt. then found out I am pregnant the day before appt. Tried Tylenol, doesn't touch it! Couldn't sleep last night. Couldn't lay down, had to sit up. Then, as silly as it sounds, everytime I closed my eyes the pain intensified. Oral surgeon wants to wait until after birth, but don't think I will make it another 8 months. I know it is a risk to have surgery, but isn't it a risk to be in severe pain too? Don't even think I can make it to 2nd trimester. If I didn't take a test and didn't know I was pregnant, I would have just had it done. Most people don't know this early, but I've had a miscarriage before (didn't know I was pregnant) and don't know what to do now since I do know. Please help!!

They can take them out with you awake! Well unless they are under the gum still...You need to talk to your OB, that is serious pain (i know, mine are coming out in a month!) Something has to be done...call your OBGYN and see what he suggests. But if they are not impacted they should be able to take them out while you are awake using novicain.
Reply:Is it unbearable? Meaning it makes you scream?? It may be Trigeminal Neuralgia. You'd have to see a neurologist ASAP!!!

Go to your dentist, and ask them to check it out. Myabe they can somehow take xrays.

If it's not that,

go to a neurologist ASAP.

Trigeminal Neuralgia is a serious problem, and is commonly mistaken as dental problems.
