My husband had his teeth fixed a few years ago due to drug use as a teenager. He has never had problems with them until yesterday. For the past two days he has had constant pain on his teeth and he says its worse when he has something cold. Does anyone know what you can do to relieve the pain temporarly? He has tried Orajel and taking Tylenol but it wears off so fast. His dental insurance doesnt kick in for another 2 weeks. Any suggestions?

im kidding.. its wrong to say this but you could try to see if anyone you know has any pain killers...i guess that might work other than that id say wait it out 2 wks
Reply:Have you checked if there is a sore in the gum? Sometimes sores can be extremely painful.
Reply:he most likely needs a root canal to get rid of that problem he might have a cavity that reached to the tooth pulp that might have caused nerve damage. or something else might be causing the pain
