Wisdom teeth pain help!?
See a dentist to have them pulled.
Reply:try advil. when mine grew in, i just drank a lot of cold water since i couldn't really get alcohol! other than that, i just lived with it! also, after having two of them removed, the pain is much worse after surgery than it is when they are growing in.
Reply:go to the dentist, you might need to get them pulled out.
Reply:the best thing for you to do is to visit your dentist. they may have to remove them.
Reply:Vicodin is pretty good.
Reply:My husband swears by migraine medicine. Try Aleve or Excedrin.
Reply:Have you tried just taking some Advil?
Reply:yeah you need to go see a dentist, if they're growing and there's no room for them in your mouth, it can damage your other teeth because there's not enough room.
Reply:If you're having pain with your wisdom teeth coming in...at the level it sounds, you may need to end up going to your dentist and having them extracted.

It sounds like they're pushing on a nerve or causing pressure somewhere in your mouth.

Sorry hon, I know that's not what you want to hear...but most people get them pulled rather than they stay in (once they try to cut through).
Reply:i used mersondole....which is a tablet...not sure how or if they will affect you current medication...i would suggest speaking to a doctor first....regardless as to the advice you get on here.....take care of you
Reply:why not just get them out?
Reply:have them pulled. the short term pain is nothing compared to the pain if you let them grow. not to mention it can totally mess up your smile.
Reply:Go to the pharmacy and get some clove oil, take a swab and rub it on your gums....you won't feel a bit of pain just don't use too much or your mouth will go numb.
Reply:boy do i know how you feel. you might have to get them pulled. for me tylenol worked. after a while mines just stopped growing all together.
Reply:I find if I pinch the top of my ear and hold it for a couple of minutes it seems to help... I apply a good bit of pressure ... again it helps...and I do this over taking medicine ... hope this helps you... that is intense pain...
Reply:I am a dental assistant in pei, and i can offer some answers. your wisdom teeth aren't constantly trying to come in. That's why it only hurts for about a week or so, and then you get a break. Have you seen a dentist? You may have to have them removed. They may shift your other teeth. Also, can you see them through the gum? Is the gum red? If they are impacted, they may be under the bone, and you will have to have them out. You could try warm salt water rinses as well. Don't leave it!
Reply:i know this sound gross but get a qtip and dipp it in peroxide then swab the area with it then put the orajel on it,then it sometimes helps to gargle with warm salt water
Reply:People say it hurts, but for some luck it doesn't hurt me, that's weird my wisdom teeth are growing too, but i guess i'll hurt later (hopefully not) but you shouldn't worry it is normal that it hurts, like for example when people have a baby it hurts but they have to suck it up, same thing with what is happening to you, but less painful of course, and well it means that we are growing up and we have to deal with pains in our life, i guess you should go to the dentist and ask him if he has something to help you relax. good luck. i hope it doesn't hurt me later on.
Reply:I would go to the dentist and ask him to pull them out. If they are causing so much pain its not really worth taking pain meds, in the end the pain meds end up screwing you up too anyway. Good luck!
Reply:hit your shin with a shoe over and over

it will me more pain than the tooth. it's winter. you never show yer legs. and ask your dentist what to do silly !!!!
