I have a sharp pain on the side of my head that my wisdom tooth is coming in..can it be connected? after i get the sharp pain, i'm very aware of my wisdom tooth

It's possible. Go to your dentist and have a few X-rays films(Pan) taken to determine the cause.
Wisdom teeth often cause no problems. But when wisdom teeth are impacted, they can cause pain, swelling, infection or damage to the teeth next to them. Pain may come from the pressure of the erupting wisdom tooth against other teeth and travel to the side of your head or your neck.
