Wisdom teeth pain?

It's been about 3 or 4 weeks now. And I have little pain when I sollow in my left bottom gum area. No other area hurts and I've looked back there and saw nothing wrong. But of course am no dentist. I followed all the rules the only thing. I stoped taking the infection pills when I went back to see my dentist. Their was at least 3 days worth of pills left. I know it cant be a dry socket cause am not in a lot of pain like they said I would be. Should I just wait till my next check up? Thanks!

Wisdom teeth pain?
If you think it's your wisdom teeth, the dentist will need to do an xray to see if they are coming in wrong or anything. My wisdom teeth came in when I was 17 and the back of my mouth was so sore and I woke up one day with one side of my face completely swollen. It hurt pretty bad. When I went to the dentist he did xrays and saw that my wisdom teeth were coming in crooked and I had to get all four of them pulled!
Reply:I would call up your dentist and tell him about your pain to see if he deems it normal or not. When I had mine removed, they hurt for a few weeks, and even bled alittle during the first 2 weeks.

If the pain is severe and not relieved by painkillers, you should see your dentist ASAP. But if its relieved by painkillers, or minor enough where you dont need them, you will probably be alright waiting until you next appt.
Reply:I'm in a similar situation. I had my wisdom teeth pulled a few weeks ago too. I can't open my mouth wide enough to eat a doughnut without my lower left part of my jaw hurting. Then again I had seven pulled and the extra tooth there was almost the size of a regular one. Which brings me to my explanation. If the tooth there was bigger, that's probably why it is hurting. If you have an infection, your gums would be swollen and red. If you didn't see anything wrong, then you're probably fine, but if this continues go see the surgeon who removed your teeth.
